Anthony has a heart for service, serving the past 32 years as a member of Swannanoa Fire Department. “Service to others is just the right thing to do.”  The compassion that he has shown in his 32 years as a public servant will be the same compassion that he takes to the commission as he puts people over politics. It is the role of government to take care of the citizens that we serve.

Anthony has four children, three grandchildren, a daughter-in law and son-in law. All, but one are Buncombe County citizens. Anthony loves Buncombe County and is proud to call Buncombe County home. Anthony, his wife Cindy and youngest daughter attend Brookstone Church in Weaverville.

Too many times elected officials over promise but yet underperform. I do not want to be looked upon as a politician; I want to serve the people. I will make no promises other than, using a quote from Coach Lou Holtz, I will give you my best effort, I will do what is right and I want you to know that I care about the citizens and this county.
